For Thanksgving break we went to Palm Springs- Keith had never been and so it was a lot of fun to see the mountains and the play in the hot sun in the coarse of 3 days. We did a little shopping one day,rode the big mountain tram and played in the snow another day and then swam in the pool and got some sun on the last day. we had fun laughing at each other and scaring each other in the elevator. Zane got to begin his birthday festivities with a new scooter. We left Thanksgiving day and headed to my moms for some good eatin'. We loved palm springs so much we will do it again!!

Here is me on halloween night. All three kids went with friends so Keith got the pit out and there we sat giving out the kids candy with out any of our own kids. It was kinda weird - lots of our ward came by. We even had a surprise visit from Thing One and Thing Two. Kinda scary literally to think of those two things out by themselves being weirdos -I know they had fun cause they were loud.
It was a warm night like always and the pit out front was awsome. Plewes and Robertsons came to hang out for a little while too.

Reflections at our new school- such a small turn out! Kids placed and got trophies -which they love more than anything. They had a hard time with this theme and it was really hard for me not to help them. Zane did the flags of many countries. Reese did different foods and catagories of animals. Life is full of adventures with new friends that plan awesome events!!Lynnley planned this day trip to Catalina- she wanted it to be the girls but I could not go without Keith because for most our married life we have talked about our first trip to Catalina together. The girls were more than happy to go with the boys and we were all so glad we did cause it was so fun. we rented a golf cart and toured the island, did a little shopping , had a picnic on the golf coarse, went parasaling and layed on the beach!

Our Sanders cousins are going on missions!! Woooo Whooo so proud of their choices. Drew is going to Montana and Taylor is going Kenya. They both went through the temple for the first time today and we got to be there. The kids came and waited four hours to say hi. Keith got to be an escort in the temple. It was one of my favorite Temple expreience. Beth and I got to seal her aunt Sharon to her Mom and Dad. Afterwards we took the kids to a Rowbotham fav- Northwoods Inn. What a beautiful day!!

I decided since i was getting old i should do something crazy and adventurous. So what better than to play in the mud and train for a little 5k.

Best Run ever!! I loved the Mud! We had to run in , climb on it, climb over it, swing over it, and crawl in it. It was so fun to be there with Kelly and Diana. Kelly even got us costumes and a Birthday sash. I was most proud that i could go on the monkey bars.

Later i found out one lady broke her arm falling off the bars and another one got the wind knocked out of her when she fell on her face. we heard the ambulances but didn't know what they were three for until after.

The Tay and Will show- what a crazy time i had trying to video tape these girls as they did a performance outside for the lunch crew- first i was not going because i didn't think i could - then Willow called me and said come now- so i rushed over to the school and tried to just stay outside the fence and i got caught so i got sent to the office and then the people there would not stop talking to me- i managed to video some of their singing and I was glad i made it.
They were the best performance out of the ones i heard and i am not just saying that cause i am mom!! I am saying that because i have an ear for talent and i know my stuff.

Willow has turned out to be such a good kid- everyone loves her- she is adjusting to the move and the new ward- still misses her other ward but she is loved by many. We have a weird Easter Bunny- he or she brings colored duct tape and healthy snacks. Crazy bunny hid the baskets so good one of the kids gave up- but he or she was smart enough to get pool toys - since we have a pool now!! Our first Mother Son activity at Orange Elemenry. It was a skate party - at first the guys were a little wobbbly but by the end of the night had it down. We had a healthy dinner of pizza and hot dogs and cotton candy. We didnt win the shirt contest cause they said they didn't see us! I think it was just cause they didnt know us. We rocked and had a fun time! The boys made up the Three Skateteers and we all had disney characters skating on our shirts - with our names as well. For the record- our shirts were the best!!!

we are very proud of the kids but this was the last awards at Prado view, both the kids teachers were very upset they were leaving. They are loved. I got teary eyed knowing we wont go to Prado View any more as well! It has been a fantastic school, i have loved all the teachers there and we have gone through 16 different grades there. That is a pretty good record. Our most memorable one is Mrs. Toso cause all three of them had her for Kindergarten.

but don't love the cold.. we wanted to go see the temple so bad but boy was it cold! Place was paced with people too. We all walked a round and some of the Rupe group met us there. It was beautiful and has such a special spirit there. I loved it- only bad part of the night for me is that we didn't eat dinner first and ended up being there way too long- we got locked out of our parking lot for a long time and sat on the sidewalk till the dads and Adam saved us from the cold and starvation! It was just fun to be together even though we were dyeing.

Zane was on the best team ever this year- When I first saw these guys my heart stopped a bit cause they were huge 7th graders and looked so good at soccer. But what I found out this season is that Zane is an all star! He kept up with the big boys. He improved so much this season. Coaches Scott and Scott were fantastic. We wil never forget this year and how much fun it was to watch Zane play soccer with all his might!

Tonia was so excited her bday this year was 10-10-10. She needed to be given a big party cause it was her 40th even. The girls and I threw her a surprise Zumba party only to distract her for the big party Matt was throwing. He rented a big yacht and took us all on a cruise of Newport. We had dinner and cake and just hung out with the Kerseys, Merrills and friends. I wanted to get Tonia good this year since it was her 40th and she is such a best friend- I thought she needed a big celebration. Her sisters and I planned a great Zumba party at our friend Sabrina's gym. It was so fun. Mandy got glow in the dark stuff and really did a great job getting it all together. Brandi and I took Tonia there and I was a nervous wreck. She could even tell how stressed I was and I couldn't tell her why! We had a blast being crazy girls, dancing like wild women.

Scout Camp Summer 2010
Zane's last time to go to scout camp with me. He is almost done with his Webelos and will then be a boy scout and the men take over from there. We had a great group of boys this year. I had a lot of fun being Zanes Den Leader. Guys in our Den were.. Aaron, Emilio, Austin, Antonio, Nathan, Hyrum and Zane. First day was kinda boring , they did a lot of learning stations where the boys had to just listen. Nose pickin'. The boys didn't know each other or me so everyone was a little quiet. By the third day the boys were wrestling and like brothers. They were all easy going and made my job so easy. Some groups had some interesting guys in them. I really liked our group and the moms that came to help. I got to know a lot of new people. Zane's favorite things about scout camp were...archery, bb gun shooting, kickball, making a bird house. My boys did a skit , a few of our favorite things about camp. It goes like this.. Scout camp in summer with bright yellow hard hats, first aid and tug of war, shooting with sling shots, bright colored aprons all tied up with string, these are a few of my favorite things. When the bugs bite , when the ants crawl, when I am feeling sad, I simply remember my time at scout camp then I don't feel so bad. They had little movements to go along with the song. It was cute. all in all a busy but great week.

Pioneer Day , girls wanted to do the pony rides, sometimes there are true benefits to being small for Willow. The Norco Builing had a petting zoo too. Kids are almost too old for this stuff but they had a great time. Of coarse they love the cotton candy and popcorn for breakfast. The stake did pancakes and stuff for us sane people but kids just ate through that real fast to get to junk food.

This is just a few of my memories from camp. Unfortunately I had to wait till Bishops night to get my camera so I am going to have to write all about my favorite moments. I had so much fun, probably more than i was supposed to. I was happy to serve in camp and felt like it was a bit of a vacation. Someone made my meals three times a day, I got spiritual upliftment, got to hike, and visit and play and sing. As you can tel by the baggage under my eyes - I had little sleep and when i did i was out! up early to get the campers going and last to bed to try to quiet them!

My cousins are all around my age and I have a twelve yr old so I am glad to see a couple of them getting married this year. Cousin Dan is the first in many years to tie the knot. I am very happy for him. It was good to see him happy with a adorable wife. Unfortunatly I didnt get to talk to them as it was a very busy day for them. The wedding was in an oprah house , nice reception. And unfortuantly my pictures didnt turn out. I had a lot of fun ones that just didnt look good. Cable Cars ... a must do when in San Fran. Took us all across town, crammed in a bumpy trolly. It was over an hour wait and we couldnt see anything cause of all the people but it was still fun. We all got hungry waiting and literally got off and walked into the first restaurant, which happened to be the best pizza ever. We got lucky there. The cable car was fun for those who got to hang off the side. Sorry Willow- next time for sure.

Peir 39 was awesome, we spent hours there. Luke was in a magic show, we pigged out!We ate some fried foods and Rick took us to a candy store where he said we could each spend $5 on candy. We were all like kids in a candy store, had to look at all the old school candies , everyone picked some stuff and $75.00 later we were done. We ate candy all week. Rick is very generous!!
There were tons of sea lions and great views of the wharf and alcatraz. We shopped and went in a mirror maze. Good Times.

On the road again...Having a blast teasing and playing with each other..

Keith and Rick rented us a big ol' RV for traveling up north. We had a blast in the RV. We played games and laughed and enjoyed traveling, Keith did all of the driving but he never complained.He was so happy to have us all hanging out together.

finally the wedding day is here- seems like we have been planning for so long.
The wedding was on the bay in San Diego- beautiful, windy, warm day. My mom's bishop married them and he had some short but sweet words to share. Yes we were a little late starting cause it took a little longer than we thought to get ready and then to get there. We tried to wait for Grama and Anna but the guest had already been waiting a long time.
The kiss the bride kiss was longer than the ceremony. They are like two little teenagers.

We wanted the time getting ready and hanging out in the hotel to be relaxing and hours of time. No quite the case. The night started off really late with the preping for the reception, it took a little longer than we thought- all day. But it was worth it cause the place looked great. Then we got to our rooms after dinner and tried to get a good nights sleep. I dreampt I was in a wild animal park cause of my moms snoring and we both woke up sick cause we got put in a smoking room. O well once they moved us , we could breathe and we got Mom ready. I had brought lots of snacks but we only spent about two hours all together there. We were late but she was beautiful!!

Forty!!! but she acts like she is 20!! Alice had a birthday party while she was down visiting. She is the coolest sista -auntie. We love her. She is so fun to be around! She is young at heart and young looking so what does age really matter.

Kids everywhere, so fun to have all the Olayan kids and grandkids over my moms for dinner before the wedding. They are the cooolest people. It made our family look so small, quiet and old. Our kids are the oldest ones there. I think there were 30 grandkids on their side and 7 on ours. Food was a disaster but it was neat to meet them. The jump was a hit!

I'm getting good at this boatin' thing. Pulled it in first try last two times we lanched.

First time having the Sanders family with us... We went for Taylors graduation, spent one day on the boat just our family then went to hang out with them one day. We had so much fun with them.The water was freeing but that didnt stop the kids from jumping in , even the crazy dads did. The look on their faces when they came up was hilarious. Looked like they had seen a ghost.
We love hangin out with them. Our kids look up to their older cousins so much.

Video Games and Basket Ball

Cousin time, Luke came to hang with us, the boys pretty much have the routine down... they play some video games, play some basket ball and go on the computer. This weekend we set Zane up on Facebook. He has his cousin and friend in Jordon who really want him on there. Now he wont have to use mine to keep in touch.

Youth Conference this year was so fun, Keith and I were parents and had 4 boys and 4 girls

the big bro was Riley Coggins, Tanner Steingraber, Elijah Glass, William Nettleton and Jonathan Romero. Th girls- big sister was Elizabet Perez , Jackie Brokaw , Windsor Champoux, and Lauren Whitlock. They were a lot of fun, we worked hard doing the Special Olympics. The boys stayed with us and the girls stayed with Kerseys.
